All proceeds from tonight’s Gwen Stefani concert in San Diego will go to the victims of the fires that cost so much devastation in that area.

Gwen told of her intention on a radio show interview yesterday morning, “When I heard about the devastation of the fires, at first I felt I should cancel my show out of respect, but then it occurred to me there might be a more useful solution”.

Then she added “San Diego has always been so supportive of me throughout my entire career”.

That’s what this blog is about. The people who think of others and take positive steps towards doing something instead of just courting trouble and the paparazzi. There are those who would have ignored the situation, played their gig, collected the earnings and moved on. Gwen Stefani is making a difference and we here at the Celebrity Role Model blog salute her.
