We at The Celebrity Role Model Blog admire Resse Witherspoon because she  conducts herself with class, whether in front of the camera or in private.  Reese is angry of the “sad and strange” behavior of celebrity party girls such as Britney Spears, Lindsay Lohan and Paris Hilton. They’re not what she (and we) consider good role models at all.

 “We don’t need to keep reading about female celebrities who are out there posing all the time and craving attention and exploiting the sex symbol stereotype.

“My mother and grandmother fought incredibly hard against a male establishment to become high achievers in their lives, and I think women should be able to be sexy and smart and successful - without being silly and aimless.”

You’re so right, Reese. Which is the reason we started this blog in the first place. Celebrities like those mentioned above are considered role models for young women, but they don’t seem to care what kind of message their bad behavior sends to the girls and young women looking up to them. We need to stop rewarding bad behavior and encourage good behavior.
