Sarah Michelle Gellar does what she can to save money. For instance she likes to ride her bike everywhere. Plus she takes advantage of coupons and re-uses her shopping bags.

“I take my reusable bag to Whole Foods so I get a discount. I go to Bloomingdale’s on double rewards day. And I always print my dry cleaning coupons before I go. My dry cleaner laughs. He’s like, ‘You don’t have to keep printing them out!’ “

“Not only is it bright pink with the bell and streamers and the whole thing, but it has Hello Kitty tyres. Every time I leave my apartment, my doorman just shakes his head.”

Now if only more celebrities would take the lead. Many of the beautiful and famous people who are out partying all night and getting into trouble, do it for attention. Wouldn’t it be better for all of us to focus our attention on the good deeds to we can talk about Sarah Michelle Gellar’s Hello Kitty bike rather than Britney Spears custody battle?
